If your suffering with pain and require an emergency dentist please call us today and we will be happy to advise on the next best steps.
What Counts As A Dental Emergency?
- Pain is often the main cause for concern – the top priority will be to get you out of pain and stabilise the area
- If you have bleeding alongside the pain (if there is no pain, this can be an indication you may have gum disease, which we would recommend coming to see us sooner rather than later)
- Teeth that feel loose – adults shouldn’t have loose teeth so we will need to take a look sooner to see what the problem is
- An abscess or serious infection – the visible signs can include swelling around your face and it will be painful. This can be very serious so please call us straight away
What Is Not A Dental Emergency?
If your able to wait a few days before being seen, then this is not critical. An example of this would be if you have chipped a tooth and there is no pain, then you can wait a couple of days to be seen. If you have chipped the tooth and it has caused pain, then this is a dental emergency.
If your not sure you problem is a dental emergency, our team is on hand to help you. Please do not hesitate to call us today.
